Oasa Lake is an artificial lake on the Sebes river, situated in Sugag, Alba county. The lake was created as the result of the dam that was built in 1979. Oasa lake is at a 1255 meters altitude, has a surface of 460 hectares and a 6 km length. In 1980, on the lake was built a hydroelectric power station to produce electric energy. The Dam is crossed by the well-known road Transalpina, which links Oltenia to Transylvania. The lake is the perfect destination for people who love to fish, but also for people who love the mountains because a lot of trails are found nearby.
