The Wooden Church from Poiana Stampei, Suceava county, was built between 1883 – 1885. The edifice was made of fir tree wood. It is dedicated to “Saints Archangels Michael and Gabriel” and is a historic monument.

Unfortunately, in February 2015, the church and its cultural objects were severely damaged by a fire.
