The Roman-Catholic Church from Tautii de Sus, Baia Sprie city, Maramures county, is dedicated to The Beheading of Saint John The Baptist and is considered a national historic monument. The edifice was built, successively, in many phases, everything being focused around the center built in the Middle Age. The eastern part of the nave and the altar were built in the 15th century and the sacristy in the 18th century. Across time, the church served many religious cults: the Calvinists (who, probably, built it), the Minorit monks and the protestants. Today, it belongs to the Roman-Catholic cult.
