The Ghica Mansion from Vaslui is the oldest building of the city. The edifice was built in the 18th century after the plans of Russian and Polish architects in New Classical style. It is the house where Elena Ghica, the sister of the last ruler of Moldavia, lived. The house is situated in the old city, near Mavrocordat Mansion, the Palace of Children, ”Saint John” Church and the archaeologic site ”Curtile Domnesti”.
It is a historic monument.
