Memorial House “George Enescu” is in Sinaia, on Yehudi Menuhin street, number 2, Cumpătu district, Prahova county. The house was originally titled “Luminis“, and then, after being donated by the Romanian composer to the state, it was given its current name.
The house is part of the National Museum “George Enescu”. George Enescu was determined to build this house because of the close relationships between him and the Royal House of Romania.
Memorial House “George Enescu” holds objects with inestimable spiritual value, objects that remind us of the composer’s life and work.
