The Tudor Vladimirescu Historic House from Vladimir commune, Gorj county, is a folk architecture monument, built in the 18th century and restored by Iulius Doppelreichter. The Historic House is the place where Tudor Vladimirescu, the ruler of the 1821 revolution, was born and displays objects that remind us of his life, but also elements of peasant interior.

The Tudor Vladimirescu Historic House is managed by the ”Alexandru Ștefulescu” Gorj County Museum and can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9,00 – 17,00. The visiting fee is 3 lei for adults and 1,5 lei for children and students.
