The Haller Castle from Ogra, Mureș county, is built on the shore of Mures river in the 18th century. Its architectural style is late Baroque. Across time, The Haller Castle was owned by various noble families from Transylvania. The castle was nationalized by the communists in 1948 and used as a school, boarding house and then as a local government building. After the Castle was given back to the descendants of its owners, it was sold to the Foris family from Targu Mures. The Foris family restored the Castle and transformed it in a restaurant, wine cellar and hotel.
