The Public Garden from Galati was created in 1864 by Iorga Ghica and is an excellent place for relaxation and resting. Moreover,  Brates Lake and its beautiful landscape can be seen from the park. The Garden hosts a fountain, various historic monuments and the busts of two important Romanian personalities – I. L. Caragiale and George Enescu.
