The Art Museum from Drobeta Turnu Severin is a county museum situated in a monument-building from the center of the city. Its building dates from 1890 and has elements of baroque architecture. The Art Museum exhibits works of art starting with the 19th century until the present, and worth mentioning are the paintings that belong to important Romanian painters, such as: Nicolae Tonitza, Theodor Aman, Stefan Luchian or Theodor Pallady.
The Art Museum can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9,00 – 18,00.
