Bucharest City Museum is a historical and cultural center of Bucharest. Its main functions are to preserve the history and art of Romania.
The museum is owned by the Municipality of Bucharest, being placed in Sutu Palace. It was opened in 1921, in the house Moruzi. At the opening were present Nicolae Iorga, Mayor Gheorghe Corbescu and other personalities of the time. The building in which the museum was designed and built is in Gothic style, and it is of a unique beauty.
