National Museum of Art of Romania is a museum located in the Romanian capital, Bucharest.
The museum is owned by the Ministry of Culture, it was built in 1948, in the Royal Palace. The historical monument holds numerous collections including: collections of paintings that belonged to King Charles I. It also contains collections brought from the Brukenthal Palace, and from other museums as well.
Currently, the museum has over 70,000 exhibits, divided into European Art Gallery and the National Gallery.
