The Village Museum from Bujoreni is an open air ethnography museum on a surface of 8 hectares. The edifice was inaugurated in 1974 in Bujoreni commune, Valcea county.
The Village Museum has many sectors that create the image of the Romanian traditional village – household sector, social and cultural sector, crafts and folk techniques sector and specialized constructions sector.
It is part of the ”Aureliu Sacerdoteanu” Valcea County Museum and is opened everyday from Tuesday – Sunday, between 9,00 – 17,00 (winter schedule) and from Tuesday – Sunday (summer schedule), between 10,00 – 18,00.
