The Oas County museum was inaugurated in 1966 are has many parts. The outdoor part or “ethnographic village” is placed near Tur river and has a surface of 1.5 ha. It has a great importance regarding ethnography. The outdoor part was inaugurated in 1972 and it has over 200 years old houses and households from Negreşti, Racs, Camarzana and Moiseni.
The houses interior is decorated with handmade carpets, blankets or traditional costumes. The museum has a lively part full of functional technical installations. Inside the museum can be found an old traditional inn and many functional workshops.
