The National Museum of the Union is located in Alba Iulia, Alba county. It is formed from 2 buildings: the Babylon and the Hall of the Union. The Babylon building was built during the years of 1851-1853.
The Hall of Union was built during the years of 1898-1900, at the beginning it was a casino, nowadays it is an important testimony of our history. It is known for the fact that there took place the Big Union, in 1918. The union between Transylvania and The Great Romania took place in this building.
You can find in this museum all the objects from that time: the desk, the paintings and so on.
The museum is an important place where the history of the modern Romania is being told by the documents that were signed there and by the place itself.
