The National Park Nerei Gorges represents a monument of nature found along the river Nera, in the county of Caraș-Severin, between the localities Sasca Montana and Sopotu Nou.
The distance on that span the gorges is about 22 km, of which approximately 20 km of keys, is Nera; crosses a defile the gorges, narrow, spectacular and absolutely wild, forming the longest keys from Romania. The walls of the high up to 200 meters, Water Nerei and the affluents of its dug formed in limestone lakes, canyons, caves and waterfalls impressive.
A trail marked tourist it crosses, but their browsing requires the crossing of the river Nera directly by water.
At the upstream of the keys, find another touristic objective, damn lake, and from the western part can be reached Beusnitei waterfalls and at Lake Beului Eye. Also, they can see and the canyon Bad Valley .
