Avram Iancu‘s Oak is the city with the same name in Blaj, Alba county. Avram Iancu’s Oak is a natural monument, with over 600 years.

The oak is called “Avram Iancu” because at its shadow stood the Romanian ruler, he came to visit the Metropolitan Alexandru Şterca Şuluţiu.

Also, this is a special tree because  it the the witness of different small talks held between General Caraffa and the last prince of Transylvania.
