The wooden church in Bolda is a travelling church and its building year is not known exactly. Is supposed to be built towards the end of the 18th century. Initially the church was built in the neighbor village Socond and brought in Bolda. The interior paintings are made in the Byzantine traditional style and it dates from the 18th century.

The altar table is made of wood and is beautiful decorated with rope motif and horizontal lines at the bottom. The building has a rectangular shape with a hexagonal apse. It has a porch on the west side were is also the entry. The porch is open with four beautiful carved pillars. An amazing fact is that the church has a millstone on the north side.
