The Wooden Church from the village Posta, Remetea Chioarului commune, Maramures county, was built in 1675. It is dedicated to Saint Ilie and is included on the national list of historic monuments. The religious edifice is erected in Maramures style, with 4 pillars that are situated at the entrance, which are unified by arches that support the porch. Its tower is 30 meters high and its interior painting was done in 1781 by Steven from Sisesti. Inside the Church one can admire the wood icons with sculpted golden frames and the altarpiece`s doors, which are beautifully decorated with the vine motive.
