Metamorphosis Greek Church from Constanta was built between 1862 – 1867, with the approval of sultan Abdul Aziz, when Dobrogea was part of the Ottoman Empire. It is a small church, dedicated to the ”Holy Face of Jesus”. The liturgy is done both in Romanian and in Greek.

The church is a historic monument.
