The “Simion Florea Marian” Memorial House from Suceava, a national historic monument, was built at the beginning of the 19th century. It is the house where Simion Florea Marian, an important Romanian folk music artist, lived (1847 – 1907). The Memorial House exhibits photos, musical scores, furniture, documents and letters that belonged to the great artist and his family.
The House is managed by the Museum of Bucovina.
It can be visited from Monday to Thursday, between 10,00 – 13,00 and from Wednesday to Sunday, between 9,00 – 15,00. The entrance fee is 6 lei/ person for adults and 1.5 lei/ person for students.
