The Wooden Church from Almasu Mic de Munte, Balsa commune, Hunedoara county, was built in the 17th century. It is dedicated to ”Saints Archangels Michael and Gabriel”. The church is formed by three parts – the altar, the men`s church and the women`s church. The oak beams that the church is made of are bonded, at the church`s corners, in “the sparrow tail” pattern.

It is a historic monument.
