The Radovan Forest from Radovan commune, Dolj county, is one of the most mysterious places from Romania. According to the local legends the forest is haunted by a bride.

They say that 60 years ago a young lady from Moldova hanged herself in the forest because she had gotten pregnant as a result of a rape. Other legends say that the young lady`s future husband died before the wedding. Whatever the story, what`s certain is that there were many accidents which can not be explained in the Radovan Forest.
