The Wooden Church from Cabesti, Branisca commune, Hunedoara county, was built in 1673. It was rebuilt in 1864 and the outer coating that was added erased part of the ornaments from the entrance and the windows. Inside, the mural painting also faded with the passing of time. It is dedicated to the ”Birth of the Holy Virgin Mary”.

The church is a historic monument.
